| BAL Co-founder, Doug Kozlay, is awarded US Patent 7,480,637 for an “Internet Transaction Authentication Apparatus, Method, and System for Improving Security of Internet Transactions” assigned to Biometric Associates, LP. The patent describes a fingerprint security device in both USB Dongle form and Wireless Card form and has 24 claims. In addition to covering access to financial web sites, the patent also describes the use of biometric USB dongles or biometric RFID cards to perform Internet financial transactions. |
