BioRegistrator™, The Biometric Identification Solution
 In cooperation with HSB, our European partner, BAI provides biometric solutions using BioRegistrator™ in the United States and Canada. This flexible, proven system is designed to accommodate the collection and use of fingerprints, facial recognition, iris and retina input scanning devices thus implementing a multi-layered set of biometric identifiers for each enrolled person. System portability allows for use during emergencies such as massive flooding. At these times no separate ID documentation may exist or be practical, however, with proper enrollment, a name and biometric more than suffice. A similar system is the asylum seeker registration program in The Netherlands. It has been installed at all the country's 140 diplomatic posts to verify the identity of long term visa applicants. Byimproving identity checking it not only streamlines immigrant processing but helps eliminate identity fraud and abuse among those seeking entry.
The Portable BioRegistrator™
BioRegistrator™ is a proven platform which connects a fingerprint scanner and camera and manages the multimodal biometric processes of enrollment, identification and verification. It provides for the capture of individual biometric features, usually fingerprints and a facial image, and links them with approved document information (passport, driver's license etc). Among BioRegistrator's basic capabilities is the ability to conduct identification searches of unknown persons within large databases of enrolled people. Checking against the existing database ensures that a duplicate record is not being created prior to acceptance and storage of the new one. BioRegistrator™ combines this powerful database search function with multiple biometric matching algorithms available on the market today. Optionally, the solution can be combined with a database for one-to-many matching orwith authentication of smart cards or any ID document for added identity assurance and confirmation. For permanent installations BioRegistrator™ is normally configured as a client-server. For temporary, remote or disaster recovery environments it can be configured as a portable application and along with its companion biometric capture devices, taken directly to each needed site.
