Supported Devices
The blueARMOR 100 Secure Bluetooth Headset will pair with most devices (phones, tablets, USB Bluetooth dongles, etc) that have Bluetooth version 2.1.
US Department of Defense security requirements
On April 29th, 2011, the Defense Information Security Agency (DISA) approved the blueARMOR 100 headset for use in the US Department of Defense. Among other requirements, the DISA STIG stipulates the following:
- Approval is granted only for BlackBerry devices with Bluetooth version 2.1 and higher.
- Software (Sentinel) from Fixmo must be installed on each device for which Bluetooth is enabled. Sentinel monitors the device’s Bluetooth Paired Device list and detects any attempt to pair the BlackBerry with an unapproved headset.
